Crochet by Rekha KB
Meet Rekha KB, a homemaker and lifelong craft enthusiast who has been crocheting for over 30 years. What began as a childhood hobby has grown into a passion for creating handmade pieces that bring joy to others.
Over the years, Rekha has explored a wide range of crafts, including crochet, knitting, paper crafts, ribbon art, festival decorations, rangoli cuttings, saree painting, dry pastel artwork, stuffed toys, and stitching. She has also taught crochet classes from her home, sharing her knowledge with others who wanted to learn the art.
At her stall, Crochet by Rekha KB, you’ll find adorable handcrafted crochet keychains, magnets, spectacles charms, bag pins, and cloth brooches. She works with fine cotton thread—a material that’s far more intricate and challenging than regular crochet yarn—allowing her to create delicate, detailed miniatures with remarkable precision. She has also crafted intricate silk-thread saree kuchu and countless handmade baby gifts, each made with patience and care.
After years of gifting her creations to family and friends, Rekha decided to take the next step by sharing her work with a wider audience and turning her passion into something more. For her, every handmade piece is a small expression of creativity, crafted with love and meant to spread happiness.
